This guide takes you from your first login to opening entries in four steps. By the end, you'll have:
An event that looks like yours, with your branding on every page, form and email.
An event that's easy to enter, with a clear page and a simple entry form.
Less admin, thanks to automatic emails, self-service changes and an AI agent that answers questions for you.
A confident launch, because you'll have tested everything first.
Tip: focus on the essentials first and add extras when you're ready. Our support team is always happy to help.
Step 1: Set up your account
Goal: make sure participants instantly recognise you and know how to reach you. These settings apply to all your events, so you only do them once.
Check your organisation details: name, contact email, currency and time zone (Organisation Settings → Account Settings → Organisation Details). See Organisation Details.
Add your logo and images for your event pages and browser tab (Organisation Settings → Account Settings → Images / Logos). See Company Logos/Images.
Brand your emails with your logo and social links (Organisation Settings → System Options → Email Templates). See Adding your Branding to Transactional Emails.
Add your FAQs so people feel confident to enter and your AI Support Agent knows what to say (FAQs in the left-hand menu). See Adding FAQs to your event page.
Later: you can also send emails from your own domain and build out your website. See the New Account Setup Checklist.
Step 2: Build your event
Goal: create an event page that turns visitors into entrants.
Connect your payment account so entry fees go straight to your Stripe account (Dashboard → Payment Account Not Connected → Resolve Now). See Connecting a Payment Account.
Add your event basics: location, capacity, and races with dates and prices. Consider early bird pricing to encourage early entries.
Write a description that sells, opening with what makes your event special. See How to Customise Your Event Description.
Make your page look great with a cover image, mobile image, entry form logo and real event photos. See Event Page Design.
Add a course map, one of the first things people check. See Course Map Unit & Description.
Set up your entry form, asking only for what you need and offering a few relevant add-ons. See Customising the Entry Form.
Add your terms and conditions, including refund, cancellation and participation policies.
Switch on Refund Protect for participant peace of mind and a commission on every protected entry. See Refund Protect.
Personalise your confirmation email with a warm welcome and what happens next. See Entry Confirmation Email.
Switch on your AI Support Agent and self-management, so participants can get answers and make changes without emailing you. See AI Support Agent and Participant Self-Management.

Step 3: Get ready to launch
Goal: test everything and line up your first entrants before you open.
Use the week before launch to make a test entry, upload your customer database, create a launch offer and set up referrals, so you see sign-ups from day one.

Step 4: Launch and spread the word
Goal: help people find your event and keep entries coming.
Your event is live! Use your first week to email past participants, track what's working, fix early issues and turn new entrants into promoters.
