Age & Gender Restrictions

Eventrac allows you to control the age and (if needed) gender of participants entering different registration categories. This helps ensure your event complies with safety, legal, or competition requirements.

Where to set restrictions

Dashboard > Event > Setup > Races > Race Details

Tick the box to enable entry restrictions i.e. minimum age

Setting Age Restrictions

  • Minimum Age – the youngest age allowed to register.

  • Maximum Age – the oldest age allowed to register.

Age on Date:

  • Use event date – calculates age based on the event date.

  • Select date – choose a custom date (e.g. 31/12/2025), useful for series or competitions that use year-end cut-offs.

Setting Gender Restrictions

By default, all participants can register regardless of gender.

You can optionally limit entries to:

  • Female

  • Male

  • Non-Binary

⚠️ Use only if your event requires this for competition, compliance, or category fairness.

Best Practice Tips

  • ✅ Double-check minimum and maximum ages to avoid accidental exclusions.

  • ✅ For multi-date events, confirm whether age should be based on the first date, last date, or a custom cut-off.

  • ✅ If your event is governed by a sporting body, confirm their age/gender rules to stay compliant.
