Moving Participants Between Events
Sometimes you’ll need to move a participant (or multiple participants) from one event to another. For example:
A participant registered for the wrong event.
An event was cancelled and attendees need to be reassigned.
You’ve set up a two-stage entry (deposit first, then full payment).
There are three ways to process transfers:
Immediately → no extra charge.
On payment of the balance → participant pays any price difference.
By self-management → participants move themselves (if enabled).
If self-management isn’t enabled, you can move them manually in the admin platform.
Move an Individual Participant
From the Events Dashboard, open the event where the participant is registered.
Go to Sign-ups.
Use Free Search to find them by name or email, then click Manage.
Select Move Entry.

Select a Transfer Type:
Immediately
The participant is moved straight away.
They receive a confirmation email.
On Payment of the Balance
The participant gets an email with a payment link.
They can review their details (in case the entry form is different).
They must pay any price difference plus applicable transfer fees.
Click Move Entry to complete the transfer.
Move Participants in Bulk
From the Events Dashboard, open the event where the participants are registered.
Go to Sign-ups.
Use Free Search or Race/Status filters to narrow results.
Adjust the dropdown to show more participants (up to 200).
Select the participants you want to move:
Tick the box at the top to select all in view.
Or tick individual entries.
Open the Actions menu → select Move Participants.
Choose the new Event (occasion) and Registration Category.
Select a Move Type:
Immediately
All selected participants are moved straight away.
They each receive a confirmation email.
On Payment of the Balance
Each participant gets an email with a payment link.
They can review details and pay the price difference plus any transfer fees.
(Optional) Tick the box to suppress emails if you don’t want notifications sent.
Click Perform Bulk Action to finish.
Enabling participant self-management reduces admin work and gives participants the flexibility to manage their own transfers.
