Depending on your settings, you can:
Allow participants to settle payments between themselves, or
Have the system collect payment from the new participant and automatically refund the original participant
Apply an administration or transfer fee, if required
How Participants Transfer Their Entry
1. Open the Booking
Participants should start by opening their email confirmation and clicking the link to view their booking.
💡 If they have more than one active booking, they’ll need to select the correct ticket from the bookings page before continuing.
2. Manage the Ticket
Once viewing the correct booking, participants can click Manage ticket.
They will see a “Transfer to someone else” button
(Available on both desktop and mobile)
3. Enter the New Participant’s Details
After clicking Transfer to someone else, a pop-up will appear asking for:
New participant’s name
New participant’s email address
An invitation will then be sent to the new participant.
4. New Participant Completes the Entry
The new participant must:
Open the invitation email
Complete the full event entry form
What happens next depends on whether payment is required.
What Happens With Payments?
If No Payment Is Required
Once the new participant confirms the entry form:
The original participant is removed from the event
The new participant is added to the start list
The transfer is completed immediately
If Payment Is Required
This may include:
A ticket price difference
An administration or transfer fee
In these cases:
The transfer will not be completed until payment has been successfully processed
Once payment is complete:
The transfer is finalised
Refunds (if applicable) are handled automatically based on your settings

Transfers remain pending until all required steps (including payment) are completed
You control whether payments are handled privately or through the system
Fees can be applied to discourage last-minute or unnecessary transfers
