Archiving a race does not remove any participant data or event information. It simply moves historic races into a separate area, allowing you to focus on upcoming event editions while still retaining access to previous data.
Accessing Archived Races
Navigate to Event > Setup > Races.
Click Archived races in the top-right corner.
You will now see all races that have been archived for the event.
Manually Archiving a Race
If you would like to archive a race before it is archived automatically:
Navigate to Event > Setup > Races.
Locate the race you wish to archive.
Click the Archive button on the right-hand side of the race.
Important
đĄ Entries must be closed before a race can be archived.
If entries are still open, close them first and then archive the race.
Unarchiving a Race
If you need to access or reuse a historic race, you can move it back into your active race list.
Navigate to Event > Setup > Races.
Click Archived races.
Enable the Manual Archiving option in the top-right corner.
Locate the race you want to restore.
Click Un-Archive.
The race will immediately be returned to your active race list.
Returning to Active Races
To return to your active races, click Future races.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does archiving delete participant data?
No. Archiving only moves the race to the Archived Races section. All participant entries, results, and event information remain available.
Why can't I archive a race?
A race can only be archived once entries have been closed.
Can I restore an archived race?
Yes. Enable Manual Archiving within the Archived Races section and select Un-Archive to restore the race.
