Enabling the Club Picker
Navigate to Event → Setup → Form.
Locate the Club Name question in your list of default questions (typically found after the Gender question).
Click Show Advanced Options.
You can then choose between:
Option | Description |
All Clubs | Participants can select an existing club or add a new one. |
Affiliated Clubs Only | Participants can only select from the official England Athletics club list. |

Customising the Question
You can rename the Club Name question at any time by clicking the pencil icon next to the question title.
This can be useful if you'd like to provide additional guidance or use different terminology for your participants.
Testing Your Club Picker Settings
Once configured, it's worth checking how the Club Picker appears to participants.
Open your public event page.
Start the registration process.
Navigate to the Club Name field on the entry form.
You can then confirm whether participants are able to create a new club or are restricted to selecting from the official affiliated club list, depending on the option you've chosen.
Tip: Testing the entry form is the quickest way to verify your Club Picker settings are working as expected.
Updating Existing Entries
Enabling the Club Picker will ensure club names are captured consistently for future registrations.
If participant self-management is enabled, you can also ask existing entrants to update their club information using the link in their original entry confirmation email.
