Important: Most participant self-management features require the ticket to have a closing date. If no closing date is set, these features may not function as expected. You can override this at any time by manually closing the ticket.

Participant names cannot be changed using this feature.
How to enable
Go to Race Details → User Management Configuration.
Tick Allow participant to manage their entries.
Set a self-management deadline.
Leave this blank to use the ticket closing date.

Allow Participants to Change Race
Participants can transfer themselves to another event or distance after registering.
How it works
Moving to a higher-priced ticket requires the participant to pay the difference.
Moving to a lower-priced ticket does not trigger an automatic refund.
You can optionally charge an admin fee.
How to enable
Go to Event → Basic Info → Race Transfer Settings.
Tick Allow participants to change race after signing up.
Add an admin fee if required.
Good to know: This setting is controlled at the event level. If it's already enabled and can't be changed here, select Basic Info from the top menu to update it.
Allow Participants to Transfer Their Entry
If a participant can no longer attend, they can transfer their place to someone else.
How to enable
Go to Event → Setup → Race → User Management Configuration.
Tick Allow participants to transfer to another person.
Click Save at the bottom of the page.

Transfer Options
Once person-to-person transfers are enabled, you can configure additional options.

Waiting List Transfers | Allow participants to transfer directly to someone on the waiting list when the event is full. |
Transfer Deadline | Set a cut-off date for participant transfers. |
Admin Fee | Apply a fee to participant transfers. |
Payment Handling | Choose how transfer payments are managed. |
Payment Handling Options
External – Participants arrange payment between themselves outside the platform.
System – The new participant pays through Eventrac and the original participant is automatically refunded.
