Your organiser account contains information relating to your business. This includes your business name and support email address (that people can contact you on). Your organiser account also allows you to set your default currency and timezone.
Eventrac allows you to create multiple organiser accounts. This might be useful if you have multiple companies and want to keep all of your event, participant and financial details separate.
Similarly, if an organisation such as a timing company is using eventrac to manage multiple events, they can create multiple accounts.
Eventrac makes it easy to setup more than one organiser account and to quickly switch between them.
Creating a second (or more) Organiser Account
From your main dashboard, click “Add New Account”
Enter the details as follows:
Organisation Name - The name of your organisation. This will be the name used when referencing your company name on receipts, email confirmations etc..
Website - The website URL of your events company.
Currency - The default currency that you process (Note, this can later be changed on a per-event basis)
Timezone - The default timezone you want to display (Note, this can later be changed on a per-event basis)
Support Email Address - The email address that your participants/members can contact you on.
Phone Number - This is not outwardly visible but gives us a contact number should we need to contact you about your account.
On pushing “submit”, the system will create the account, link your user account to it and then immediately switch you to the account. If you wish to switch to another account, you can follow the below section on switching between accounts
Switching Between Organiser Accounts
If you have access to more than one organiser account you can quickly and easily switch between them. To do this:
Navigate to the Main Dashboard on the “Events Platform”
On the right-hand side, select the account you wish to switch to
Select your organisation from the list and click Switch
Note: If there is only one account, you can create another account by clicking Add new account
Updating Organiser Details
You can edit the details on your organiser account i.e. Your business name and support email address or enable a daily summary email. To do so:
From your main dashboard, click “Amend Details”
Enabling a Daily Summary Email
If you wish to receive a daily email with a summary of all your bookings/sales, you can simply enable the summary email.
Note, enabling a summary email will send a daily email to the email address stored in your organisation details
Enabling Volunteer Requests
If you wish to capture the interest from your participants and whether they would consider volunteering at your events, you can enable volunteer requests.
Note, enabling volunteer requests, the system will add a new opt-in checkbox on your entry forms asking the participant if they are interested in volunteering at future events. This can then be seen when viewing “All Signups”
