When a participant has been removed, their entry page will display a red notification banner and the Remove button will be replaced with a green Reinstate button.
How to Reinstate a Participant
Navigate to the relevant event.
Select Sign-ups.
Locate the participant you wish to restore.
Click on the participant to open their entry details.
In the management panel on the right-hand side, click Reinstate.
The participant will immediately be restored to the race.
How to Identify a Removed Participant
There are two ways to confirm that a participant has been removed:
Red Status Banner
A removed participant will display a red banner at the top of their entry page stating:
REMOVED: This participant has been removed from the race
Reinstate Button
In the management panel, you will see a green Reinstate button.
If you see a red Remove button instead, the participant is still active within the race and does not need to be reinstated.
When Should I Use This Feature?
Use Reinstate when:
A participant has been removed accidentally.
An entry needs to be restored after being removed in error.
A participant contacts you because they can no longer access their event entry.
You need to reverse a participant removal.
Important
š” The Reinstate button is only available for participants who have already been removed from the race.
If the participant is still active, you will see the standard Remove button instead.
Once reinstated, the participant's entry will be restored and managed as normal.
