Preview Your Event Page

Before opening entries, it’s always a good idea to experience your event exactly as your customers will. Previewing your event helps you spot issues early and ensures the customer journey is smooth, clear, and confidence-building.

How to Test the Customer Journey

We recommend setting your event to Private first.

You can do this from Setup → Basic Info > Visibility Options

Once private, open the event from the “Preview Page” button and complete a test entry yourself. To experience the full flow without making a payment, use a 100% discount code. This allows you to:

  • Copy the URL from the browser

  • Confirm pricing, options, and add-ons display correctly

  • Receive and review the entry confirmation email to complete the registration process

What to Look Out For

As you preview your event, pay close attention to the following:

  • Visual presentation

Review your event images and description to ensure they are clear, engaging, and accurately represent the experience you’re offering.

  • Registration questions

Check that you’re capturing the right information from participants — no missing fields, no unnecessary friction.

  • Add-ons and merchandise

Make sure any optional extras (such as merchandise or add-ons) are clearly visible and easy to select during registration.

Taking a few minutes to test your event from a customer’s perspective can make a big difference to conversion, confidence, and overall satisfaction when you’re ready to launch publicly.
