RunUltra Integration Guide

RunUltra is one of the world’s leading platforms dedicated exclusively to ultra running. It provides a trusted hub where endurance athletes can discover races, read reviews, and connect with the global ultra-running community.

For event organisers, RunUltra is a key destination for reaching athletes who are actively searching for their next big adventure.

The Eventrac × RunUltra integration allows you to sell tickets for your events directly on RunUltra while managing all event settings and bookings from your Eventrac account. Beyond event entries, the integration also seamlessly syncs:

  • Orders

  • Donations

  • Refund protection

  • Team entries

All data flows automatically from RunUltra into Eventrac, keeping everything in one place.


Setting Up Your Events on RunUltra

Before you can accept bookings through RunUltra, your events must have profiles on the RunUltra website.

  1. Check whether your events are already listed

  2. If they are not listed, follow RunUltra’s organiser guidance here to quickly add your events

Once your event profiles exist on RunUltra, you can proceed with enabling the integration in Eventrac.


Accessing the RunUltra Integration

From your Eventrac dashboard, navigate to: Dashboard → Integrations → RunUltra

This is where you can enable and manage the integration.


Enabling the RunUltra Integration

To enable the integration:

  1. Open the RunUltra integration

  2. Click Manage

  3. Select Setup

  4. Accept the terms to activate the integration

⚠️ Important privacy note

No personal information (such as names, email addresses, postal addresses, or contact details) is shared through this integration. Participant data remains securely managed within Eventrac.


Linking Your Events to RunUltra

Before going live, your Eventrac entry widget must be linked to your RunUltra event pages.

This final step is handled by RunUltra. Once:

  • Your events are listed on RunUltra, and

  • The integration is enabled in Eventrac,

Please contact us at [email protected]. We will provide your Event ID(s) to RunUltra so they can enable your entry widget on the relevant event pages.

Once complete, you’ll be ready to start taking bookings via RunUltra.


Managing the RunUltra Integration

After the integration is enabled, the Eventrac booking widget will automatically appear on the corresponding RunUltra event landing pages.

Any updates you make in Eventrac—such as:

  • Changing prices

  • Opening or closing entries

  • Updating event details

—will be reflected instantly on RunUltra. This ensures both platforms stay perfectly in sync without any additional effort.


Paying the Commission

RunUltra charges a 5% fee on all New Bookings but there are no set up or annual fees. If you receive a new booking from RunUltra then you will be credited the final amount less the RunUltra and standard booking fees.


Reporting on RunUltra Bookings

To help you track the performance of the RunUltra integration, Eventrac automatically tags each participant with RunUltra as their booking source.

You can view and report on RunUltra bookings in several ways:

  1. Individual bookings

    Check the Acquisition Source field on a booking record

  2. All Sign ups & Participant reports

    Include the Booking Source column when exporting or reviewing participants

  3. Integration overview

    View the RunUltra integration page to see the most recent bookings generated from this source
