Connecting & Managing Multiple Payment Accounts

Eventrac allows you to connect more than one payment account. This means you can assign different accounts to different items β€” so money always goes where it should.

πŸ”Ž Typical Use Cases

  • Send money to different bank accounts depending on what item was sold.

  • Direct charity donations straight to the charity’s account.

  • Organise an event on behalf of someone else and route entry fees to their account.

  • Send merchandise payments directly to a third-party supplier.

⚠️ Important: While multiple payment accounts offer flexibility, in some cases, it may be better to:

  • Use a separate organisation

  • Use the merchant platform

  • Set up a reseller account

If you’re unsure, please contact [email protected].

Default Payment Account

  • When you connect your first Stripe account, it automatically becomes your default payment option.

  • By default, all payments (i.e. events, products, donations etc..) will go to this account.

  • You can manage accounts anytime under:

Organisation Settings β†’ Account Settings β†’ Payout Accounts

ℹ️ You can edit the account name (Shown at checkout to the customer) or Statement descriptor (Shown on a customer's card statement) of any connected Stripe account at any time by clicking Manage.

NOTE: Changing the default account will not change any item already linked to the original default account i.e. it will be applied to new items only. You can change where money is paid on a per-item basis

βž• Adding Additional Stripe Accounts

  1. From the left menu click Account Settings > Payout Accounts.

  2. Click Connect New Stripe Account.

  3. Once connected, you’ll be able to assign this account to specific events, products, or donations.

❗ Your default account will always be selected unless you change it.
