After your event finishes, you'll likely want to publish the results so participants can easily see their performance and ranking. Sharing results is also a great way to keep your participants engaged after the event.
Finding Race Results
Navigate to your Event and click the Results tab.
Showing Results
To display results on your Eventrac landing pages, you will need to enable them.
Note: If you want to upload results without displaying them publicly then don't click the toggle to Show Results. This will still link the results to a users profile when using the CSV upload method
Once enabled, results will appear on your event landing page, accessible by the Results tab.
Note: It is also possible to include a "Results" menu item, allowing your participants to easily find results for your all events. Please follow our menu builder guide for further information <link>
Ways to Upload Results
CSV Upload (Preferred)
Uploading a CSV file of your results is the preferred method, as it allows:
Results to be linked to user profiles.
Users to search and filter results easily.
Important: Before uploading a CSV, you may want to create a results template. For more information on creating a results template, please refer to <link>
Select the correct race and click the +Import Results button.
Choose your upload method.
The system will ask how you want to upload results. Select Upload a CSV file to be processed.
Select the Results Template
If you want to customize the fields shown in the results, select a Results Template. For more information, please refer to our guide on Results Templates <link>
If you use the default template, the following fields will be shown:
First Name
Last Name
Position
Overall Time
Club (if this was enabled on the form)
Team (if team participation was allowed in the race)
Populate the Results Template
Click Download Template to get a template file, which you can then populate with your results.
Note: Using the provided template isn’t mandatory. You can also upload your own CSV file, and the system will let you map the headers in your file to the fields in the system (see Mapping Field Names below).
Upload the File
Once your CSV file is ready, upload it by clicking Choose File and selecting your completed file.
Mapping the Field Names
You will now map the fields from your CSV file to the appropriate fields in the system. For example, if the First Name field in your CSV is labeled Forename, you can map it to the First Name field in the system.
For each CSV header, you can choose to:
Map it to an existing field.
Add a new field.
Ignore the field.
Once you have mapped your data, click the green button: Save Mappings and Start Import.
Tip: For a detailed guide on importing data, please follow our import guide.
Results Processing
The system will now process your results. This may take some time. You can check the status of the import and view any errors by clicking the Import icon in the top menu bar.
