The appearance of your landing pages and entry form play a key role in customer conversion. Eventrac gives you the ability to style your pages with your imagery. Eye-catching images are proven to increase conversion rates, so it's important you take the time to style your pages with the best images you have.
For an extra layer of interaction, you may also choose to add a video background to your event landing page.
Each image placeholder carries its own suggested dimensions. These dimensions ensure the images are displayed in the most optimal way. If you need help resizing or cropping images, we suggest using either photopea or canva. Please contact our support team for further assistance.

Main Dashboard > Events > Setup > Page Styling
Previewing Images
You can review images/video that you update by simply clicking the “Preview” button at the top of the page
The Static Cover Image
The image uploaded here will be displayed at the top of the event landing page as the main event image.
Example:
Suggested Size: 1920px width x 450px height. ~200Kb is recommended for the image.
The image will automatically be centered and will scale depending on the device/browser with which a user is viewing the page.
Note: Images are best uploaded without text since auto-scaling can often clip some of the text from view.
Note: If the image uploaded is not the recommended dimensions then if may appear differently on your preview page and landing page.
Adding a static cover image
Scroll to the “Cover Image” section and click “Upload”
Note: When you first upload a static cover image, will also update the panel image. You can independently customise the panel image (see below)
The Panel Image
The image uploaded here will be displayed in any search or event listing pages. For example, when a user visits a calendar or collection page

Suggested Size: 350px width x 200px height ~200Kb is recommended for the image.
The image will automatically be centered and will scale depending on the device/browser with which a user is viewing the page.

Scroll to the “Cover Image” section and click “Upload”
The Cover Video Background
If a video background is preferred, this field can be used to add a YouTube link which will play at the top of the Event landing page (without sound) instead of displaying an image.
The video will automatically be centred and will scale depending on the device/browser with which a user is viewing the page.
Adding a cover video
Cover videos must be You Tube hosted video. To add a cover video, you will first need the You Tube embed URL.
Navigate to the you tube video
Right click and copy “Copy Embed Code”
Paste the embed code in a text editor and copy the URL in the src property
Paste this URL into the text box in eventrac and click save
The Entry Form Image
The image uploaded here will be displayed at the top of the entry form when a user enters the Event.
Example:
Suggested Size: The image should be square with a recommended resolution of 200px width x 200px height
The image will automatically be centred and will scale with the entry form depending on the device/browser with which a user is viewing the page.
Note: Non-circular images/logos are best uploaded with a border to ensure the full image is displayed within the available circle.
Adding a entry form image
Scroll to the “Cover Image” section and click “Upload”
Any updates should now be visible when clicking the Enter Now button in the preview pane to display the entry form widget (which can also be previewed using the magnifying glass next to the Event Name at the top of the page and selecting Enter Now).
The Image Gallery
The image gallery allows you to upload upto 6 images which best showcase your event. These are shown on your landing page and allow users to enlarge and interact with the image
Example:
Suggested Size: Images in the gallery can be any size, but we recommend to utilise square images (500px wide x 500px heigh), to create a uniform layout and optimise the gallery
The images will automatically be centred and will scale with the entry form depending on the device/browser with which a user is viewing the page.

Disabling Page Styling
Whilst not recommended, it is possible to disable page styling on an event landing page. Simply click “Disable Page Styling”
